Andrew Pappone

Drew Pappone joined Rubin Kidney Myer and Vincent as an associate in 2019.  He works primarily in the areas of criminal defense and family law.

Before joining the firm, Drew worked as a public defender in Massachusetts and Alaska.  In these positions, Drew represented clients facing misdemeanors and felonies from arraignment through trial and represented children and parents in child welfare proceedings.  He also represented defendants who had been convicted of drug crimes as a result of a crime lab scandal in Massachusetts, assisting in winning the dismissal of over 30,000 convictions.  Drew began his career with the New England Innocence Project, representing wrongfully convicted people in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and advocating for criminal justice policy reforms in the Vermont and New Hampshire legislatures.

Drew graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 2012, where he worked in the criminal defense and prisoners’ rights clinics.

Drew lives in Moretown.  When he is not in the office or the courtroom, he can be found in the surrounding hills skiing or hiking, spending time with his wife and dog, Booker or toiling away in his garden, trying to figure out how long he can extend Vermont’s growing season.
